Born in 1997, Antoine Conde lives and works in Paris.
After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, he completed his education at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, from which he graduated in 2024. He grew up in Corbeil-Essonnes and turned early on to literature, drawing, and cinema, which served as an escape for him—a way to journey beyond his surroundings. Upon arriving in Paris, he began producing work more extensively, always maintaining a tender gaze on the places and events that shaped him.
His practice spans drawing and installation, and he draws his inspiration from books and other forms of storytelling. His works have been exhibited at FRAC Corsica as part of the group exhibition “Is Something Missing”, alongside artists such as Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster, Anne Bourse, Annette Messager, Mimosa Echard, Ladji Diaby, and others. More recently in Paris, Antoine Conde has participated in several group shows at “3537,” “Mai 68 – Assemblée Générale”* at the Centre Pompidou, and at the Cité des Arts during Paris Photo and Galerie du jour by Agnes b.
In 2024, he was part of the group exhibition “Autohistorias” curated by Skye Thomas, Tadeo Kohan, and Louise Delalambellerie at the Théâtre des Expositions of the Beaux-Arts de Paris. During his residency at Villa Belleville, he produced his first solo exhibition at Ds Galerie, on view until May 3, 2025.
